Find out the details of “We swim together”, the charity day of the Gran Canaria Swim Week

 The organization of the event has shared the details of the We Swim Together charity parade , which will take place coinciding with the International Breast Cancer Day on October 19, in the context of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida.

Ana Locking, Spanish designer and photographer, will attend the show as a godmother. She overcame breast cancer in 2020 "which makes her personally a symbol of courage, bravery and an example of how this disease can be overcome," the company considers in its press release.

And it is that this day will have as triple objective to raise awareness, support the prevention and research of this disease, basic pillars that have established the survival rate in the battle against Breast Cancer at 90 percent.

To this end, the gala will also have a charitable nature and all proceeds from the sale of tickets will be allocated 50 percent to the Spanish Association against Cancer, and the Canary Association against Breast and Gynecological Cancer.
